Redesign vs rebuild: what's the difference
A redesign changes how the site looks and potentially its structure, but often keeps the underlying platform. A rebuild starts from scratch — new code, new architecture, new everything except the content and brand.
We only do rebuilds. The reason is simple: if the site's underlying platform is what's causing the problems (slow WordPress, outdated theme, plugin conflicts), redesigning the visual layer on top of it doesn't fix anything. You end up with a nicer-looking site that has the same performance and maintenance issues.
A rebuild from scratch gives you a clean slate — code that's yours, a site that's fast by default, and no legacy problems inherited from whoever built the previous version.

How much does a website redesign cost?
Most redesigns come in between $3,000 and $7,000 depending on the number of pages, how much existing content can be reused, and whether new functionality is needed. We give you a fixed scope and price before we start.
How long does a redesign take?
Most redesigns complete in 3–5 weeks. The main variable is content — if your existing copy can be reused with minor updates, it's faster. If it needs a full rewrite, add a week.
What happens to my existing site during the rebuild?
Your existing site stays live throughout. We build the new version separately and only switch over when you've approved it — no downtime, no risk to your current traffic.
Do you keep the same domain and URL structure?
Yes — we preserve your existing URLs where possible, and set up 301 redirects for any URLs that change. This protects any existing search engine rankings you've built up.
Can I move away from WordPress?
Yes — that's usually the point. We rebuild on a modern, hand-coded stack that doesn't require ongoing WordPress maintenance. Your content comes across; the platform bloat doesn't.
